WORKSHOPS

We run a range of fun and educational workshops for primary and secondary school classes of all age ranges!
We have been hosting successful workshops around the country for the past 10 years and have a great record of providing an exhilarating, educational experience for all who take part.

Our workshops start with a brief teaching of the heritage and history of Bhangra which is taught in an illustrative and engaging way.

After this, we teach and practice the basic dance steps of Bhangra before allowing children to work together in teams to come up with their own Bhangra routines. This leads up to an exciting X-factor style competition.

Finally, we finish with a Dhol drumming session, teaching basic beats of the Dhol, Dholki and Tabla drums, before the young people come together and form their own Bhangra band!

The sessions are proven way to educate children about a different culture.

Bhangra with a Bang

We run Dhol, Dholak and Tabla drumming workshops along side our dancing! Have them separately or combine the two for an awesome all round experience.

Incredible India

We can host an entire India day with a range activities and learning. As well as our usual workshops we run Rangoli art workshops, stage plays and cultural learning talks
